Durango Mountain Resort is an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Durango. The roads to the resort are multi-lane and are well maintained. U.S. Highways 160 and 550 both come through Durango providing easy access from the Southwest.

The fastest way to fun in Southwest Colorado is flying directly into Durango’s regional airport (DRO), which is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Durango, Colorado.

Parking: Durango-La Plata County Airport offers both short- and long-term parking immediately in front of the terminal. Long-term parking charges are $6.00 per day up to a maximum of $30.00 in a seven-day period. Short-term parking is free for the first thirty minutes, and $1.00 for each half hour thereafter, or a daily maximum of $7.00. Or, try their convenient new credit card in- credit card out lot for $5.00 per day and $25.00 per seven-day period.

Note: Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an easy 3.5-hour drive to Durango, Colorado. Many major airlines offering reasonable flights from hundreds of cities service this international airport. If you choose to fly into Albuquerque, ask your Silverton Reservations Travel Specialist for assistance with your rental car out of Albuquerque.
