Mesa Verde Aramark Tours

Providing the only lodging and NPS-approved guided tours inside Mesa Verde National Park, Far View Lodge offers 150 non-smoking rooms ranging from simple to upscale available late spring through early fall. Perched atop a mesa at 8200' elevation within this U.S. National Park, each room's private balcony allows enjoyment of panoramic views reaching into Colorado's neighboring Four Corners states of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Tours depart from Far View Terrace Tour Desk, across the road diagonally from the Visitor Center.

Classic Pueblo Tour is a afternoon tour and is a ranger-guided and shares contemporary interpretation of the archaeology and culture of the Ancestral Puebloans. This 3.5 -hour tour includes Triple Cities, Square Tower overlook, Sun Point, Sun Temple and a walking tour of Cliff Palace. Departs from Far View Lodge (with pick up at Far View Terrace)

The 700 Years tour provides you with an overall historical view of the Ancestral Puebloans architectural, horticultural, cultural, and religious dimensions of their lives in the Southwest. You will be taken through a chronological journey starting with the earliest recorded Pithouse villages (600A.D.) in history to the classic Pueblo era of cliff dwellings dated from the 13th century. Cliff Palace, the largest of cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park, is viewed as one of the top ten places to visit in a lifetime.

From Durango - Total drive time approx 90 minutes. Take 160 West For 36 Miles. Exit At Mesa Verde National Park and follow to the entrance. NPS entrance fee is $10-$15 seasonally. Far View Lodge Is 15 Miles Inside The Park On The Right Hand Side. Tour Desk is located in Far View Terrace, across the road diagonally from the Visitor Center.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From Durango - Take 160 West For 36 Miles. Take Mesa Verde National Park exit and follow to the entrance station. Unless you have a park pass, the entrance fee is $10-$15 seasonally.
